A trend emerging from Science Day and Business Day indicated that technology is ready for the transition to sustainable energy; the important theme is now a shift in thinking and the mental framework. We’re working hard to put all the presentations, papers, photos, videos, reports and social media online so you can share your experience of the event with your colleagues and your network. Check www.rsm.nl/energy for updates.
Professor Wolf Ketter
Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus University (RSM) is host of the annual Erasmus Energy Forum. RSM’s Erasmus Centre for Future Energy Business has featured a unique convergence of the energy transition: from addressing scientific output for renewable opportunities to traditional players and key regulations to advanced-energy leaders. It continues enabling new insights and connections, and serves as a forum to have critical energy debates today and into the next decade. The EEF 2017 was a joint effort of:
Solarus, a producer of hybrid power collectors, won the Stedin Erasmus Energy Business Award, and a research paper on the hot topic of blockchain technology for the energy sector by Dr Marius Buchmann won the Erasmus Energy Science Award. They were recognised at the Erasmus Energy Forum 2017 after they presented their concepts during the event in Rotterdam on 28 and 29 June.
